Humanist Ceremonies
Joyful Life Celebrations offers secular, non-religious ceremonies to mark the most significant moments of your life. Our ceremonies embrace a non-religious ethical philosophy, a way of life and a way of thinking, that involves adherence to strong ethics, an emphasis on human rights, mutual respect, and compassion for the Earth and its creatures.
Whether you are welcoming a new person to your family, joining two families together with a wedding or marking the passage of a loved one’s life, Joyful Life Celebrations will work with you to create a ceremony that is secular, ethical, non-religious and non-denominational.
In the province of Ontario, Humanist Officiants are rigorously trained and regulated by the Ontario Humanist Society. They are governed by a stringent set of Ethical Principals.
Concerns relating to the performance of a Humanist Officiant as set out in the Ontario Humanist Society Professional Standards may be directed in writing to: Chair, Ceremonies Committee, Ontario Humanist Society, 265 Gore Street, Almonte, ON K0A 1A0 or by email to ethicsconcerns@ontariohumanists.ca
