Jennifer Hoy married us August 17th, 2019 that was 2 days ago. Our experience with Jennifer was above and beyond anything we could have expected or wanted. Jennifer was so professional, accepting, prepared for our ceremony. Beyond that, she is so personable, gracious, kind and accommodating. Our guests were so impressed with her as we were. She is situated in Almonte but came to Ottawa to initially meet with my husband and I. For our wedding she drove all the way to Ompah in North Frontenac county to perform our ceremony. She made everything so easy and stress free, which was exactly how we wanted our wedding to be. I wouldn’t just recommend her, I would challenge anyone to find a better officiant, and a sweeter person to share your day with.

Planning a wedding can be stressful – planning a wedding in a pandemic adds a whole other layer! However, Jennifer took a lot of anxiety out of the process. From our first phone call together to making herself available after the wedding for any follow up questions we might have, she put us completely at ease. She was quick to respond to every email and incredibly flexible when we needed to change our venue last minute due to constantly changing provincial restrictions. She was more than happy to hike out to our new choice of forested wedding space and even had an impromptu tick awareness speech prepared for the occasion! She is extremely accommodating, incredibly talented at deflecting stressful situations with humour and a true delight to work with. We are thrilled that we chose Jennifer to create our perfect ceremony.
